Discover Fiji for the Holidays

TRULY SAVOR MOMENTS THIS FESTIVE SEASON

The holidays are a time for celebrating many things, but above all, it’s a time for truly savoring moments. In an era full of ever-present technology, busy schedules, and the everyday grind, we urge travelers this season to slow down, pause, reflect, and live in the moment.

A destination holiday is an opportunity to switch off, enjoy an island pace, and indulge in rich memory making with your loved ones. With a festive season program imbued with extravagant feasts, community celebrations, and special opportunities for romantic moments, discover how Fiji might be exactly what you need to end the year brightly.

Namale looks forward to a bright and jovial holiday season, celebrated island style! Explore our upcoming holiday programs designed to complement our existing all inclusive packages for a festive Fiji holiday.

DIWALI – NOVEMBER 7

Join us for the biggest Hindu celebration of the year! Known as the “festival of lights” and an important national holiday in Fiji, Namale’s Diwali celebrations are held on the main festival night and include a full day of activities, shared meals, and entertainment. Spend the day with staff and guests making rangoli, a traditional art form from India in which patterns are created on the floor in living rooms or courtyards using materials such as colored rice, dry flour, colored sand or flower petals. The practice is meant to be beautiful, celebratory decoration, but is also thought to bring good luck! Then join us in Main Bure restaurant for an Indo-Fijian feast, a cultural show of song and dance, and complimentary mendhi (temporary henna tattoos). Wear a complimentary sari for the occasion, and join a nighttime celebration of sparklers to cap off the festival events.
