How do I get to Namale?
No matter your original destination, you’ll fly into Nadi International Airport (NAN), located on the island of Viti Levu. Suppose you’re traveling from the United States. In that case, it’s roughly a ten-hour flight from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) or San Francisco International Airport (SFO), but your travel times will vary if you’re coming from Australia or another international destination.
Once you land at NAN, you’ll go through customs, retrieve your checked luggage, and make your way to the Domestic Terminal. This is where you will catch a short, one-hour flight to Savusavu Airport (SVU), located on Vanua Levu island, home to Namale Resort & Spa. Upon touching ground at SVU, you’ll take a 10-minute complimentary shuttle to our resort.
How do I get to the resort from the airport?
Namale Resort & Spa provides complimentary ground shuttle transportation between the resort and SVU airport.
What time is check-in at Namale?
Check-in time is 3 p.m. However, if you arrive earlier, we will still arrange your shuttle service to our resort and begin the check-in process. While your room won’t be available until 3 p.m., you’re more than welcome to start enjoying our resort activities.
What time is check-out at Namale?
Check-out time is 10 a.m., but if you have a flight later in the day, you can continue enjoying our resort until your departure. We will happily hold your luggage at Reception for the remainder of your stay.
What does your all-inclusive package include?
Our all-inclusive package comes with any room booking, and everything is included, such as your accommodation, activities, meals, beverages, and even alcohol. You can enjoy everything from fine dining to snorkeling excursions. That said, some experiences, like spa treatments, are not included in your package and are available at an extra cost.
What are the main types of rooms offered?
Our resort features 22 units, including our bures and villas. We have several garden and ocean bures, along with our Honeymoon Bures which have their own private plunge pools. There are also four Villas, which have either a private plunge pool or a full-sized pool, in addition to our two-bedroom Luxury Grand Villa, featuring a full-sized private pool. All our accommodations come with one king-sized bed, with the Luxury Grand Villa providing both a king- and a queen-sized bed.
Is there a two-bedroom accommodation available?
Yes! Our Luxury Grand Villa, also known as the Dream House, includes two bedrooms. One has a king-sized bed, while the other has a queen-sized bed.
Which accommodations have a private pool?
Our Honeymoon Bures have private plunge pools, while our Villas offer your choice of a private plunge pool or a full-sized pool. As for our two-bedroom Luxury Grand Villa, it comes with a private full-sized pool.
Is there a hairdryer in each room?
Yes, every room includes a hairdryer, so there’s no need to bring yours along.
Should I bring an international travel adapter?
Yes, Fiji operates on a 240V supply voltage and 50Hz, so we recommend bringing a travel adapter for your electronics.
Is there a minibar in my room?
Yes, every room has a minibar, and our staff can restock it daily.
Do you have luggage storage available?
Yes, we offer luggage storage for all our guests.
Do you have a safe in each room?
Yes, all our rooms include a safe, so you can easily store your valuables, such as your wallet, jewelry, and travel documents.
Do Namale staff speak English?
Yes, our staff is fluent in English, so you’ll have no trouble communicating. However, they also speak Fijian, so this is a great opportunity for you to learn a few words and phrases in our native language!
Do you have a restaurant on-site?
Yes, our resort has an open-air restaurant serving fresh farm-to-table fare.
What time is breakfast?
We serve breakfast daily from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Do you offer in-room dining?
Yes, we offer in-room dining from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. We have special menus that provide breakfast, all-day dining, beverage, and cocktail selections.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, all bures and villas have Wi-Fi, along with many common areas throughout the resort. However, our bandwidth is much lower here on the island than in other parts of the world, so you may experience slower-than-expected internet speeds.
Is there a dress code at the restaurant?
Our restaurant is casual, but those wearing a swimsuit must wear a cover-up. Also, you’ll remove your shoes before entering the restaurant, so we suggest wearing sandals, slip-ons, or other easily removable shoes.
What are the resort pool hours?
Our resort has public pools that are open 24 hours a day.
Can I pay with my credit card at the resort?
Yes, we accept credit card payments. We will add any resort purchases to your account, and you can pay your bill at check-out, so there is no need to carry your credit card around the resort.
Do I need to bring cash?
Yes, we always recommend bringing cash on vacation. You can use it to cover everything from taxi rides to souvenirs.
Can I tip the staff?
While we discourage you from tipping individual employees since our entire staff is committed to ensuring your stay exceeds your expectations, we encourage you to support one of our three staff funds. We have a Staff Appreciation Fund distributed to our staff members each December, an Education Fund that supports our staff members’ children and their educational opportunities, and a Medical Fund that covers the medical needs of our staff and their families.
Is this an adults-only resort?
Yes, our resort is adults-only and welcomes all guests 18 years old and older.
What are the top attractions near the hotel?
Our resort is close to various island adventures and tours. For example, you can venture on a Salt River Drift, visit a Pearl Farm, fish for tropical game, scuba dive in the Namena Marine Reserve, and so much more!
Can I get married at Namale Resort?
Yes! We provide several wedding packages to make all your wedding dreams come true. Say “I do” on a private beach or request a Fijian warrior escort down the aisle. Whether you want a small intimate affair or a more elaborate celebration, we offer it all.
What are the wedding packages offered?
We offer three wedding packages: Totoka “Beautiful,” Wananavu “My Love,” and Uasivi “Lovers.” All three packages provide a stunning on-site wedding venue, and a wedding concierge, celebrant, champagne toast, bouquet, and boutonniere. The Totoka package is the simplest option, while the Wananvu and Uasivi provide additional perks, like private candlelit dinners, flower arches, a wedding cake, and more. In addition to these packages, you can purchase optional wedding add-ons to ensure your wedding day is special.
Can I buy out the entire resort for an event?
Yes, you can reserve our entire resort for a celebration, event, family reunion, or just because. When you book all 22 villas and bures, you and your guests can enjoy every inch of our resort all to yourselves.
What are the best occasions to visit Fiji?
It’s always a good time to visit Fiji! Our guests love to visit our resort to celebrate their honeymoons, anniversaries, weddings, babymoons, and milestone birthdays. However, some guests visit us for a romantic getaway, an adults-only retreat, or a relaxing vacation on island time.
Is there a spa on-site?
Yes, our resort is home to the award-winning Valeni Sasuni Spa Sanctuary, where you can indulge in the finest spa treatments. Tucked into volcanic cliffs above the Koro Sea, our spa offers treatments inspired by ancient healing traditions. Enjoy massages, facials, body treatments, body therapies, and more.
Is there a fitness center?
Namale Fitness Centre is a 24-hour fitness center featuring many different kinds of equipment, including an Elliptical Trainer, StairMaster, Concept 2 Rower, Roque Echo Bike, and TRX Suspension Training. Our gym also has free weights, box jumps, and yoga mats, among other equipment.
What is the Kava Bowl?
Our resort is home to the Kava Bowl Indoor Bowling and Entertainment Center. The only entertainment center of its kind on the island, Kava Bowl is an air-conditioned space with bowling lanes, billiards, table tennis, air hockey, darts, and a selection of cards and board games. It also features two private theaters with On-Demand movies.
What activities are included?
At Namale, we offer a wide range of activities in your all-inclusive package, such as snorkeling, sea kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding. During your stay, play volleyball, tennis, or basketball, take a dip in our resort hot tubs, venture to our hidden waterfall, relax in our two freshwater resort pools, and spend an evening at the Kava Bowl. You can even go hand-line fishing, take a guided rainforest hike, and enjoy the spa’s hydrotherapy room. To top it off, we offer complimentary nightly happy hours, kava ceremonies, cultural shows, and traditional Meke performances.
