The anniversary celebration kicked off on June 12th, 2015 with a special 25th Anniversary Sunset Celebration. “Our 25th Anniversary year will be like none other in the history of Namale Resort & Spa,” explained Nowdla & Bill Keefe, General Managers of the luxury resort located in Savusavu, Fiji on the Northern Island of Vanua Levu. The 25th Anniversary Sunset Celebration on June 12th 2015 was filled with authentic culture and interactive activities serving as the official start to the yearlong 25th Anniversary festivities planned through June 2016. “While our all-inclusive property and offerings are both extensive and unique, our primary focus for our ongoing 25th Anniversary celebrations will be on our guests,” reports Margaret Ybarra, Sales & Marketing Manager.

Preparation for the yearlong celebration started in January 2015 with renovations to the resort’s Main Dining Bure, plunge pools and dining decks. The resort also re-constructed and dedicated one bure to act as both a Day Room as well as a Bridal Preparation Suite for use on Namale Wedding Event days. Upgrades were also completed at the Main Reception Bure, Spa and select bures and villas. “We felt that it was time to update our spaces and refresh the look of the most loved locations on our resort” said Namale Co-General Manager Bill Keefe.
Themed weekly anniversary dinners, monthly on-site, and social media, anniversary contests as well as special packages and unique commemorative items for sale in the Namale Boutique are just a few of the aspects that are planned to celebrate the rich history of the luxury resort.
